WCSD recognizes National School Psychology Week

National School Psychology Week, which ran this year from Nov. 11 to Nov. 15, celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the role they play in schools and communities.

It is also an annual opportunity to recognize Westerville school psychologists’ work to help children thrive in school, at home and in life.

“We want to recognize them and thank them for their service to our students, families and staff,” said Westerville City School District Special Education Coordinator Dr. Angie Nichols.

School psychologists in the district include: Jen DelRio, Westerville Central; Sara Mcrea, Westerville South; Angela Stone, Westerville North and Pointview; Mike Fardal, Heritage and Annehurst; Angela Kladias, Genoa, Walnut Springs and Hanby; Jen Aransky, Minerva Park, Walnut Springs and Emerson; Lindsey Hirsch, Blendon and Mark Twain; Shawna Roby, Hawthorne and Cherrington; Nikki Placencia, Alcott and Preschool; Debbie Dunbar, McVay and Preschool; Karlie Foy, Fouse and Preschool; Dr. Pam Warrick, Huber Ridge and Robert Frost; Dr. Bev Reynolds, Minerva France and Whittier; Courtney Zybak, Wilder and Preschool; and Anne Rebman, Preschool.

Other members of the team include school psychology interns Marcel Jacobs, (not pictured), Chris Acton and Maggie Friend as well as Paige Ream, the school psychologist secretary.
